This digital teaching resource should be used for students in years 1 and 2 to learn abour Capacity- Mathematics.

This resource can be used by the whole class, or individually. This resource can be teacher led, or individually accessed. The board holds diagrams and examples. It also shows catchy capacity songs, worksheets and related books which can be read within the classroom as part of the lesson.

Which subject or learning area would it be most appropriate to use in?

This resource would be most appropriately used during Maths, as part of year 2’s Capacity curriculum.

This resource shows many creative takes on capacity and in class resources and work examples which have been created by real teachers and students. There is also a variation of interactive activities and worksheets which offer informative points to educate students.

As it is a variation, I feel as though this resource could have more in depth detail in regards to the topic and cover more areas of capacity. It also requires a login and password to access the board.

Explain any ideas you may have for further use of this teaching resource

This teaching resource is great. It is readily accessible for any teacher to quickly put a song on, to then follow with linked online resources, activities and books related to the subject. A worksheet can then be completed. It is an entire lesson in one place.
